From Twitter To Facebook: Step Up To Social Media

Shasta College is proud to host a free, one-day conference that looks focusing on the fastest-growing part of the Net-Social Media on Saturday, April 24th, 2010.

This event will feature writers, publishers, bloggers, novelists and teachers who are building relationships with their audiences.

Presenters include:

Silas Lyons, Record Searchlight publisher and new media expert.

Donna Eyestone, former Apple content producer, educator, and podcasting instructor

Doni Greenberg, A News Cafe publisher, editor, and writer.

Ransom Stephens, scientist and science writer, experienced in social media networking and promotion.

Joe Quirk, author of both fiction and non-fiction books He has experience in both traditional publishing and POD - publishing on demand. Quirk will be speaking on how a writer can develop a "platform" using social media tools.
